The Australian Trade Academy (ATA) warmly welcomes international students from around the globe to pursue their Australian-certified trade qualifications right here in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Once you have successfully completed your application and enrolment process with ATA, you will be issued with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). With this essential document, you can then apply to the Department of Immigration and Emigration Sri Lanka for a student visa. While you may choose to use a migration consultant to assist you, you can also complete the application yourself.

Student Visa Conditions
Once your student visa for Sri Lanka has been granted, it is crucial that you adhere strictly to its conditions. Failure to do so can result in serious consequences, including visa cancellation and inability to complete your course. Key conditions typically include (but are not limited to):

Satisfying attendance and/or course progress requirements and maintaining a valid enrolment for your course.

Only engaging in part-time work if specifically permitted by your visa grant (and not exceeding the stipulated number of hours).

Notifying ATA of your local Sri Lankan address and any subsequent changes of address within 7 days.

Completing the course within the duration specified in the CoE you received.

Remaining with the Australian Trade Academy as your principal education provider unless a formal release letter is issued by ATA to facilitate transfer to another recognized institution.
