From 13 Sep 2025, DHA updated English rules for the 482 (SID) visa: PTE Academic minimums are reduced (L33, R36, W29, S24), IELTS stays 5.0 each band, and tests now accepted include CELPIP, LanguageCert Academic, and MET. The change aligns with Vocational English and gives applicants more pathways, faster retests, and less friction. Good news for candidates who were close to earlier cut-offs.
